Description

The Montessori one sheet work plan for lower elementary includes ten different templates to help students keep track of assignments and activities at school. The Montessori work plan templates help students prepare for the week by giving them an overview of all the activities done during the school day while developing responsibility and independence.

Students write the assignments or activities in the work plan to help them maximize their time during the work period. The format of the templates allows students to write the lessons for the day or the week.

You will receive a blank version of the ten templates and different versions to edit in Powerpoint to change the heading and type assignments into the template but not the actual layout of the template.

Montessori Student Work Plan Templates

  • These are flexible work plan guides that change weekly and adjust to keep up with student progress. There are three versions of the template.
  • The first template includes pictures to help identify each subject, while the second template is ideal for students who can read independently.
  • The third version is a blank template, so you can customize it to fit your classroom needs.

Elementary Workplan Templates in the Montessori Classroom

  • Each student in my lower elementary classroom uses a work plan given to them weekly. They fill out their work plan for the following week at the end of the week. After two weeks of using the work plan, many students catch on to the work pattern.
  • My younger students who need more guidance start with work plan templates that include images and work habit goals. I gradually change their work plan to handle more responsibility and independence.
  • In the beginning, I guide them through the whole work plan, and they only fill out one or two days at a time. My older students write their work plan for the week and use it to check off work they have completed.
  • At the end of the week, students take their work plans home and any handouts to show their parents. The weekly work plan is a great tool to communicate their child’s progress in class with parents.

Customizing the Montessori Workplan Templates

  • You will need to have access to PowerPoint to edit the titles and text. Templates with pictures can’t be changed, edited, or modified.
  • Movable pictures or images are not available in this resource. You will need to add your pictures.
  • All templates in this digital download are only available in a print font type, not a cursive font.
