Becoming a teacher was a tough journey.
I dreamed of it for so long, but after I graduated, finding a teaching job during a recession was a real challenge. Schools weren't hiring.
So, I adapted—I taught different grades in various schools, and that built my resilience. Now, those diverse experiences have made me a stronger, better teacher for my students.
Throughout the highs and lows, it's the sparkle in a child's eye when the light bulb of understanding switches on kept me going in the classroom.
This joy of witnessing students "get it" has ignited my passion for crafting educational resources, particularly in ELA, that incorporate movement and make learning an enjoyable experience for my students.
