Sticky Notes in the Classroom

In the classroom, I use these sticky squares in different ways. Besides, using them on anchor charts, I like to get all fancy with them because I did not inherit the teacher’s handwriting gene.

During the summer months, I like to print templates to have them ready to go when I need them.

Here is a list of the type of things I print on them.

  • Questions for mentor text- Print questions on the sticky notes and stick it on the page of books you read aloud in the classroom. This teacher hack is a great way to remember where to stop and ask questions. Click here to see an example of ways to use sticky notes with a mentor text.
